15th Clayton Lake Reunion

This year the group was somewhat smaller, Peter Farnsworth had a wedding to perform and Don Miller was not feeling well so he and his wife Nancy could not attend.

We also had a tragedy in our group where Peter Farnsworth lost his only son in a auto accident! Most of us will be attending a celebration of life for Joshua Farnsworth in the near future!

I signed everyone's books with a 30 plus year old International Paper pen that I thought was appropriate for the occasion!

We got to hear a few stories and catch up with everyone's recent activities! Karleen and Mark have just moved into their newly built home and Allen and Jane have sold their farm and currently helping the new owners get used to the farm while waiting for their new home to be built by the same contractor that built Karleen & Marks home! Jane was adamant saying that instead of 1500 apple trees they would have 15 apple trees, and instead of 6,000 Christmas trees they would have 6 Christmas trees! Al and Jane worked very hard and had a beautiful farm and donated apples, honey and vegetables to the needy! They decided to take some time to enjoy their family more and not work quite as hard and finally retire! In our group we are mostly retired but some of do some things to keep busy and make a little extra cash! Bill does some forestry work. Peter has several part time jobs, including forestry work and working for the town of Stratton. Roger still trains and raises dogs. Mike sings and plays in a band. And beside promoting my book I still buy some cedar for SBC. Dave Lemay is still fishing as much as he can. Jean and Earl moved to a smaller place in Dover Foxcroft. Mike and Karen bought Karen's parents ocean front home on Cape Cod and use it some of the year but also rent it out when they are not using it! Al Lagasse still loves hunting and fishing as well as he and Marsha visiting their family when ever they can! Barry, Marsha's brother is the one who called me from the veterans hospital in Togas and we talked for over two hours about my book!
