Now what do we have here?

I was fishing on Cunliff Lake (shown in the beautiful sunset above) one evening in 1974! When I was going through my old 35 mm slides I put the above photo in my collection of photos to possibly go into my book! It is funny that when I was there fishing I did not notice bright blue reflection in the center slightly right of the photograph! Since I was considering using this photo in my book I made the image larger to see the beautiful sunset better! Well some of you may have seen this from an earlier post I did on face book! I enlarged the photo and the below is what I got for an image and the bright blue light you see what I call an UFO!

To me it looks like a shuttlecraft that may have been used to do research! But please tell me what you think it may have been!

It is surely very interesting and in those same years there were reports from people who saw other UFO's! In 1975 when the Maine logging organization was protesting another type of aliens (Canadian loggers) trying to keep them from working in Maine! During this period someone set fire to the Allagash Bridge near Henderson Brook and it burned one section of the bridge completely and made the road impassable, because the top of the bridge was completely burned!

Bill Sylvester, Peter Farnsworth and I spent the night there wondering if the arson may return to the scene of the crime, but we had no luck finding any clues as who did the crime! Well waiting all night in the front seat of a pickup we were all nodding off at times! I remember opening my eyes and I saw the strangest thing. At first I thought it may be the red tail lights of a helicopter, because it hovered over the bridge. But then in a split second it went straight up and disappeared into the atmosphere! I looked quickly at Bill and Peter but they were sound asleep, and I did not to wake them to tell them that story! And I didn't tell Peter until many years latter! And I do not remember ever telling Bill about what I saw!

What I figured whatever it was it was curious who was cooking marshmallows over a river buy burning a bridge! That was a perfectly clear night where you see millions of stars and planets through the really clear atmosphere!
